In my sessions, either 1:1 or in my membership, we do a fair bit of mindset work and what I call ’emotional freedom’ work. We use EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming), IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy), Somasense, hypnosis and many other techniques and tools, which I have been gathering in my toolbox over the last 7 years or so (see more information about most of these techniques here).
This is ESSENTIAL work. Your book will never get finished (or even started!) if you don’t tend to your emotional needs. What you write about will bring up all sorts of emotions, and the act of writing itself will too. ‘I’m not good enough, I can’t write, I can’t spell, I’m not a writer, I don’t have the patience, I don’t know where to start’ and so on are very common beliefs and perceptions when we (are about to) write a book.
My mini-course ‘EFT for writers’ teaches you the most effective, easiest and quickest method (in my view) when it comes to eradicating these pesky thoughts: EFT. I teach you the technique and then show you how to use it for particular feelings, emotions and thoughts. Then you can apply it in your life whenever you need to. Like magic, your feelings will fade away and you will be able to write.
You will need to use EFT regularly. We’re only human, our fears and negative thoughts can’t be released once and for all and for ever. Thanks to my course, you will have access to an EFT script you can use for any kind of feeling, emotion, thought or belief and to videos that you can tap along to.
