Sacred Writing Archetypes® quiz

What kind of writer are you?

We all have 8 archetypes within us, but our world, internal and external, is ruled by our top 3 archetypes.

Would you like to find out what your top 3 are and how they rule your world? This quiz is a series of thought-provoking questions about your habits, behaviours and thoughts relating to writing, based on Kendall SummerHawk’s legendary Sacred Money Archetypes® quiz.

However, the way we do everything is the way we do everything, so all the findings from this assessment will apply to SO MUCH MORE than just writing!

This is why I LOVE these archetypes and this work, and why I apply it to ALL areas of my life AND my business.

ALL my clients take the quiz before I start working with them. It ensures I work with them from the very best place and help them as much as possible, whatever programme they choose to work with me in.

If you don’t receive an email with your archetypes and scores within 2 hours, please check your spam folder and email me via my contact form here if you haven’t received anything.

I am your Book Doula and here to help you birth your book.

Please consider each question below from a ‘whole life’ perspective, i.e. if a statement has at one time been strongly relevant but is no longer, please still mark it on the higher side of agree. If you haven’t written, or haven’t started writing, a book, use other types of writing to answer your questions (blog posts, newsletters, etc.).

Also, answer each question from a place of truth – not hope, wish or ‘would like’.

I like calculating the pros and cons of choosing a particular idea for my book.
I often find myself coming to the aide of others, helping them with their book ideas or even editing their work for free.
I am willing to risk time and money to write and publish a book that is very different from anything you might find anywhere in the world.
Despite my best efforts, something often happens to complicate my writing life or schedule.
I secretly feel clever or even superior to others about my writing.
I find myself helping others with their writing, putting their needs ahead of mine.
I never share my writing/book ideas.

I love welcoming new writing/book ideas, in magical or unconventional ways.
I love the idea of having the best, most glittery, most out-of-this-world book cover as it will enhance my image and give me a lot of visibility.
Making money from my book isn't as important to me as creating a movement, making an impact or being involved in social change thanks to my book.
Always getting the best or being first – VIP seating at another author's event, going for the latest trend in book publishing, getting the latest gadgets for merchandise linked to my book – is important to me.
I feel a love/hate relationship with my writing and allllll my ideas.
I project an image of success that often doesn't match the number of words I have written.
I believe it's greedy or not spiritual to focus too much on making money from books.
It's easy for me to spend money on things like my book cover, flying first class on my book tour and beautiful merchandise that represents me, my brand and my book.

I find it easy to connect ideas together.
I love keeping all my writing/book ideas in a special folder, notebook or spreadsheet.
I often find myself being supported by others because I support others so well too – connection is so important to me.
I find it difficult, even painful, to give my writing/book ideas to other people.
I often avoid looking at my word count, hoping the whole book will get written all by itself.
I make sure to always check my word count at the end of my writing session and write it down in my spreadsheet.
I like it best when someone else writes down what I say and tidies everything up for me.
I find it difficult to trust others with my writing/book ideas.

I never feel there is enough time to write and always strive to create more but feel like I'm always failing.
I don't see the point in writing for months and months, as life is to be enjoyed now. I write in short bursts or I just don't write at all.
I am reluctant to make any time for myself. My book has to be finished and published asap.
Writing doesn't feel that serious to me. Just talk into your voice recorder as you walk in nature and get it all transcribed. Easy!
I forgo spending time enjoying life in order to write and publish my book. Work first.
I love having luxurious experiences or an abundance of items. I often write my book at the spa, and if I'm at home, I surround myself with candles and beautiful, soft cushions.
I am highly ambitious and see the publication of my book as a measurement of my success.
